Our client owns and operates their fibre optic network connecting 93 cities in 22 countries and has built metropolitan area networks (MANs) in 20 European centres of business. Generally accepted to be Europe’s fastest growing telecoms provider, our client owns and operates Europe’s most advanced and densely connected voice and data network.

As part of their continued growth, they now require a Corporate Account Manager responsible for selling into new accounts to the corporate market in the UK, with strong emphasis on the Finance, Banking & Insurance sectors.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the corporate sales environment including a number of years sales experience, preferably with a European carrier with a good understanding and proven success of selling managed WAN/ VPN solutions and managed bandwidth services into the Corporate sector (in particular Finance, Banking & Insurance).

Role Profile:
- Target customers, develop strategies, present solutions, and negotiate deals leading to increased invoiced revenues. Must be strong at new account acquisition.
- Work with UK support to ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Including pricing, contracting, and delivery of service.
- Communicate opportunities, obstacles, market information to sales and product management:

• Build a prospect pipeline from a standing start via own initiatives.
• Work with marketing to drive further prospecting initiatives.
• Provide full visibility of business potential through the SalesLogix reporting tool.
• Provide timely and accurate business forecasts.
• Maintain an up to date and accurate movement plan in Outlook.
• Work with Product Management and Pre-Sales to create sound proposals
• Work to achieve financial based targets set

Experience Required:
- Understanding of the corporate sales environment including a number of years sales experience, preferably with a European carrier.
- Existing network of contacts is essential.
- Good understanding and proven success of selling managed WAN/VPN solutions and managed bandwidth services into the Corporate sector.
