Our client is a Global Telecoms Service Provider with one of the most extensive fiber optic networks in the world, offering broadband, voice, data and multimedia communications solutions. Due to rapid expansion they require experienced new business Account Managers with a hunter mentality to join a dynamic and expanding part of the sales team. You will identify, develop and close high-value solutions such as Voice (TDM, VoIP), Data (MPLS, IPVPNs), IP and Ethernet.

You will focus on securing new name new business accounts and maintaining relationships in order to develop the Account and generate pull through business. You will identify, develop and close high-value solutions such as Voice (TDM, VoIP), Data (MPLS, IPVPNs), IP and Ethernet.

In return you can expect:

-A basic salary in the region of between £40k to £50k dependent upon experience plus realistic OTE of £30k to £40k (uncapped), a generous car allowance of £7.8k pa and extensive company benefits such as pension, life insurance and flexible working.

Details about the role:

-Required to meet or exceed the sales targets allocated.
-To build strong and effective relationships at a senior (and other relevant) level with New customers, third parties and colleagues.
-To create and action short, medium and long-term account planning to achieve revenue/product goals.
-To produce and complete all required information, documentation and procedures for customers, management and colleagues and to discover and close business opportunities
-To coordinate, communicate, contribute and respond in a team environment with management and colleagues effectively, positively and enthusiastically and to support and abide by the Management's standards of professionalism, credibility and work ethic.

The Successful Candidate will have:
- Relevant and recent telecommunications sales experience (Voice, Data, IP, Ethernet, etc.)
-Must be a strong team player with a commitment to value-based leadership.
-Self-starter with experience and desire to acquire New Business
- Adept at prospecting, funnel management and closing business.
-Strong Data, Voice, IP and/or Managed Services competencies are required.
-Must demonstrate proven success as a top sales performer, consistently exceeding quota.
-High level of Account Management and client interface skills.
-Advanced presentation skills.
-Expertise in sales opportunity analysis and proposal development.
-Strong closing skills critical - in-depth understanding of client business drivers, strategy and buying cycles.
-Strong account planning skills Articulate with High levels of inter personal skills and strong communication skills (verbal and written) capable of maintaining complex / senior client relationships.
