Telecoms Sales Corporate ISP "New Business" MPLS Ethernet WAN

Our client is fast expanding provider of high speed next generation Ethernet-based networking solutions to UK SMEs, Corporates and Carriers, delivering scalable, state of the art WAN and IP connectivity solutions. As well as being the first to offer VPLS in the UK, our client has been regularly ranked in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 list of fastest growing technology companies. As a result of their continued growth, they require new business sales people to secure new name business within Corporate markets.

Successful candidates will have a consistent track record of new business sales achievements within the telecoms, ISP, systems integrator or carrier space as well as being experienced selling into Corporate market sectors. You will have knowledge of data connectivity such as MPLS, WAN and IP network technologies and be adapt at working within a growing, dynamic company.

Key responsibilities for this job:

• To support continued growth and heightened profile within the corporate marketplace
• To plan Sales strategies and campaigns to increase market share, raising awareness of the
brand and technology
• To ensure that targets are achieved
• To achieve personal/career advancement goals inline with the personal development programme
• To competently and knowledgably advise clients on Network solutions and services that best fulfil their requirements, undergoing full assessments and analysis of client needs
• To negotiate pricing with clients to achieve sales inline with pricing policies and client requirements

Other duties required to undertake as may be assigned by Sales Manager/Director:
• Accurate forecasting of anticipated sales is required, along with regular activity reporting
• Participation in planning and preparing marketing campaigns along with your own targeted campaigns
• Mentoring more junior staff members
• Attending networking events
• Performing client account reviews
• Activities outside of normal work hours may also be required
• Any other fair and reasonable task or duty assigned to you by your Manager, or other senior staff member

Knowledge and experience required:

• Consistent new business sales record within the telecoms, ISP, systems integrator or carrier space
• Experienced selling into the corporate or SME market
• Knowledge of MPLS, WAN and Internet network technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to 'win trust'
• Must be driven, self motivated and disciplined
• Eager to learn and develop
