Our client is Europe's leading specialist in the provision of managed services solutions for operating Internet and enterprise applications. In short our client runs critical business applications for mid-market companies and ISVs. Services include Managed Services; Critical Application Hosting; IT Infrastructure & Operations; SaaS.Due to our client's continued success and growth they are looking to recruit an additional Client Account Manager to join the sales team. Reporting to the Client Account Director you will be responsible for driving specific new business revenue by building and leveraging relationships with existing clients and channel partners, to sell a broad range of complex, service led infrastructure solutions.
Role:
- To identify and close new business opportunities for selling managed services solutions in the existing client base around Business critical, web apps; Messaging & Collaboration; ERP
- Identifying and creating “Need” within clients – understanding the clients’ business, the issues that they are facing and helping them to identify solutions that meet their own needs and create opportunities.
• Selling to and influencing IT and Business Managers, Directors and Sales professionals in existing clients – must be able to identify and sell value added solutions, will need to be able to understand the ROI and convince corporate clients of the benefits.
• Will be working as part of the Client Account Directors team in existing accounts
• Will be able to build and maintain a large and diverse network of industry figures.
• Building long term relationships based on successful engagements, trust and honesty.
Person:
• Proven sales background – best practice sales techniques and processes.
• A broad understanding of the technology industry, industry trends and technologies.
A solid understanding of one or more of the following:
o Business critical web applications (Microsoft, Sun, HP)
o Messaging & collaboration solutions (MS Exchange)
o ERP (SAP)
• Understands outsourcing, hosting and services led value added solutions
• Commercially astute – a business thinker
• Consistent over achievement against targets
• A strong track record of direct or indirect selling
• Attended formal sales training
• Background from recognised technology companies – outsourcing, systems integration, IT Services company
In return you can expect:
- A salary up to £40,000 Base
- Commission of £35,000 Variable per annum
