the mobile phone in the UK over 20 years ago,
mobile technology has moved from the early cumbersome
mobile devices to the introduction in 2003 of
advanced 3G solutions. Almost 80% of UK adults
own a mobile phone and numbers are rising with
the uptake of enhanced data services and new
applications such as mobile TV.
Mobility
is now extending beyond the handset and more recent
innovations such as 3G, Wi-Fi and WiMAX are beginning
to change how and where people work to ensure
