Investors in People (IiP) is a
national Standard which helps organisations
to improve performance and realise objectives
through the management and development of their
people. It provides a framework, which can be
adapted by any organisation, for improving business
performance through a planned approach to setting
and communicating business objectives and developing
employees to meet these objectives.
The
IiP framework is based on three key principles:
Plan – to develop strategies to improve
the performance of the organisation
Do – to take action to improve the
performance of the organisation
Review – to evaluate the impact on
the performance of the organisation
Inspire
PEOPLE achieved the IiP Standard in January 2008
and our current Investors in People accreditation
is valid until December 2011.
